Closing the Global Digital Skills Gap

CHALLENGE

  • 10×1000 Tech for Inclusion, a joint initiative by the International Finance Corporation and Alipay, lacked awareness in regional Southeast Asia and other global emerging markets.
  • Despite being a free-to-access upskilling program, there was a need to boost brand awareness and engage a growing community of fintech professionals.

STRATEGY

  • Implemented a strategy focusing on stakeholder dialogue and connectivity to foster a supportive community environment.
  • Conducted thorough community management, including monitoring comments, tags, and external conversations, to ensure each member felt heard and valued.
  • Utilized paid activations on LinkedIn for targeted community growth, with content centered around the community of learners and alumni.

RESULT

  • Achieved a 142% increase in followers within a year and an average engagement rate of 11.5% for all content postings.
  • The Meet the Community series significantly boosted positive engagement and strengthened the alumni network.
  • Expanded the learner base to 90 countries, partnered with 45 institutions, added programs in French and Bahasa, and certified 1,675 learners, exceeding the target by 675.
